We have just received all three colours of Cult’s 1:18 replica of the 1955 Jaguar 2.4 Mk1.

The car was produced between 1955 and 1959. At the time it was known only as the 2.4 litre. It was only after the Mk2 was launched that it became known as the Mk1.

The Mk1 was the first Jaguar with a unitary construction of body and chassis. Its chassis and suspension shared much with the D-Type. The rear wheel track was narrower than the front, which reportedly gave the car higher stability at speed. Inside the car the design was similar to many contemporary Jaguars, especially in the dashboard area.
