Lucky Step has just released all four colourways of its 1:18 replica of the 1974 Aston martin Lagonda. We still have a few left of burgundy, dark blue and gunmetal grey, but the silver version was an instant sell-out on release. We can’t see its three siblings hanging around for long either.

The original Series 1 version of the Lagonda was produced in 1974 and ’75, before the distinctive wedge-shaped bodywork of the Series 2 was introduced in 1976. It was the first production car to utilise a digital instrument panel; indeed, it was reported that the development cost for the car’s electronics alone amounted to four times the budget of the entire vehicle!

These Lucky Step replicas have sealed bodyshells, so we’re talking nice, clean bodywork shut lines devoid of any clunky gaps.
