MR is an Italian model company that manufactures 1:18 replicas in resin. Its models are hand-built near to Lake Como, in an area that is well known for its traditional craft practices. MR’s models are priced at the very top end of the market along with CMC and BBR. As with BBR’s offerings, its releases do not have opening parts, but they do have truly excellent paint finishes and feature wonderfully tight shutlines. As you would expect for an Italian company, MR places a heavy emphasis on the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo in its product line-up. It does acknowledge car makers from other countries too however, having also released models of cars from Bentley, Bugatti, Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen.
