Brooklin’s models are made in the UK, by a small team of knowledgeable enthusiasts in Bath. Brooklin models are created from white metal rather than the diecast metal or resin that is used when replicas are manufactured in China. White metal replicas used to look quite expensive in comparison with diecast or resin models, but continual price increases for the latter two now make white metal seem quite good value. Brooklin's replicas are all of American cars (the company originated in the small Canadian town from where it takes its name), mainly from the first half of the 20th Century. Because its models are made in white metal, it can manufacture even smaller runs of even more niche subjects than the resin makers are able to.
