1:18 scale model cars

We sell lots of 1:18 scale model cars from brands such as Spark, Minichamps, Tecnomodel and many more! This includes a selection of Formula One (F1) models, motorsport models (including replicas of cars from the Le Mans 24 Hours which is a particularly popular collecting theme amongst our customers), road car models and others. Subjects range from the dawn of the motor car right up to the present day.

A 1:18 scale model car is a small replica of a real car, where the size of the model is 18 times smaller than the real size. For example, a current F1 car is about 5.5m (18 foot) in length, meaning a 1:18 model would be about 30cm (12 inches) in length. A 1:18 scale model car will be just over double the length of its 1:43 counterpart; it will also be more expensive due to the increased size.

Traditional diecast models are made from ZAMAK, which is a zinc alloy that contains small amounts of aluminium and copper. However, most models are now made from a type of plastic called resin. Resin models allow for a more detailed finish and are usually lighter than traditional diecast models. Owing to this, they are also more fragile and therefore they do not tend to have opening parts.
