The young British driver's lid had a one-off American flag-themed livery at this event, complimenting the colour scheme on his car. Bearman was demoted from eighth to 15th in the Sprnt Rce for leaving the track and getting an advantage. He achieved a much better result in the main race, scoring two points in ninth.
