AUTOart 1-18 2018 McLaren Senna diecast model car review

We recently received AUTOart’s 1:18 replica of the awesome McLaren Senna, in no less than four different colours. Officially these are Trophy Mira Orange, Vision Victory Grey, Stealth Cosmos Black and Vision Pure White.

The McLaren Senna was officially unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. It was the third model in McLaren’s ‘Ultimate’ series, joining the F1 and P1. We won’t insult your intelligence by going into who it was named after!

The Senna was largely based on the 720S, using a modified version of its carbon fibre monocoque and twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Significant aerodynamic features included the adjustable double-element rear wing, double-element diffuser, front and side air intakes, and rear air louvres.

As you would expect, AUTOart’s 1:18 renditions of this spectacular machine are top-class. The paint finishes on them are phenomenal, while the dihedral doors open just as they do on the vehicle itself. The rear wing is even adjustable too.
