Norev Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2022 - White/Pyro Red 1:12 model car Product Information
Norev 1:12 diecast model of the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in white/Pyro Red. The 992-spec. Porsche 911 was introduced in 2019. As is usual with the 911's lineage, the potent GT3 RS example followed a couple of years later. With this iteration, Porsche conceded that today's strict European emissions regulations meant that there wasn't much to be gained by further tuning its 4.0 litre flat-six engine (although it did squeeze another 14 bhp out of it). So instead, the German car manufacturer piled on the downforce to get more performance out of the latest incarnation of this iconic machine. In fact, so colossal is the rear wing on this vehicle that when spy shots of it first emerged it was assumed to be of one of Porsche's forthcoming race cars. That rear wing has a Formula One-esque DRS (drag reduction system), too. Astoundingly, the GT3 RS makes three times more downforce than a standard GT3, to a level akin to that of the GTE version raced at Le Mans. Plentiful use of carbon fibre (the regular GT3 may have a bonnet made from the material, but the RS can also boast doors, front wings, roof and engine cover) keeps the kerb weight down to 1,450 kg. All of that equates to a 0 to 62 mph time of just 3.2 seconds, and a top speed of 184 mph. It's no wonder that all the motoring journos are raving about the latest 911 GT3 RS.
