Norev 1:18 diecast model of the 1968 Ferrari Dino 206 GT in Rosso Dino Red. This Ferrari was produced under the Dino marque from 1967 to 1969. 152 examples were built in total, in left hand drive only. It was much more curvaceous than the 308 GT4 that it succeeded. The 206 GT was powered by a transversely-mounted, all-aluminium 2.0 litre V6 engine with dual overhead camshafts. This engine revved so highly that Magneti Marelli had to develop a bespoke Dinoplex C capacitive discharge ignition system for it. The frame of the 206 GT featured a lightweight aluminium body, full independent suspension, and all-round disc brakes. Its top speed was 146 mph. Please note that Norev has incorrectly listed this replica as a 1968 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, but the 246 GT was not produced until 1969.
