The race started in damp conditions, and Mercedes' Bottas played snooker at the first corner, punting Norris's McLaren into the Red Bull of Verstappen. Behind that fracas Aston Martin's Stroll had his own accident, piling into the unfortunate Leclerc's Ferrari.
