MCG Ford Escort Mk.IV RS Turbo S2 1990 - White w. Blue Motorsport Stripes 1:18 model car

MCG 1:18 diecast model of the 1990 Ford Escort Mk.IV RS Turbo in white with blue Ford Motorsport stripes. Ford introduced the Mk.IV Escort in the face of stiff competition from the Vauxhall Astra, Volkswagen Golf Mk.II, Austin Maestro and Peugeot 309 to name but a few. The main difference externally was that it was given a smoother nose. Internally, the cockpit received a completely new dashboard and instrumentation. ABS was an optional extra, although it was fitted as standard to the RS Turbo variant. The engine was also upgraded, the 1.3 L power unit being replaced by a 1.4 L CVH version.
