KK Ferrari Testarossa 1986 - Red 1:12 model car

KK 1:12 diecast model of the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa in red. The Testarossa was produced from 1984 to 1996. In its development key consideration was given to overcoming the faults of the 512 BBi; principally a cockpit that overheated from the indoor plumbing that ran from the front-mounted radiator to the mid-mounted engine, and a lack of luggage space. To rectify these problems the Testarossa was half a foot wider than its predecessor, and had a longer wheelbase. Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina led the design team, opting to make the necessary side air intakes a fashion statement rather than trying to hide them from view. As the car had such a low drag coefficient, it did not require a rear spoiler. It was powered by a 4.9 litre flat-12 engine, producing 385 bhp, and allowing top speed of 180 mph.
