KK Ferrari 288 GTO 1984 - Black 1:12 model car

KK 1:12 diecast model of the 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO in black. The 288 was initially intended to be a modified version of the 308 to keep the costs down and the build time short, but when it was completed it bore hardly any resemblance to its predecessor. The bodywork in particular was much more extreme, with bulging fender flares and larger front and rear spoilers. The 288 also had much wider body panels than the 308 as they had to cover the much larger Goodyear tyres mounted on racing wheels, the 288 being a homologation special. 272 examples were produced in total.
