KK 1:12 diecast model of the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB in yellow. One of the most notable GT racers of its time, the 250 GT SWB famously used a short wheelbase to improve its handling. It was developed by Giotto Bizzarrini, Carlo Chiti and Mauro Forghieri; the same team that would be responsible for the achingly beautiful 250 GTO. The 250 GT SWB was the first GT car to incorporate disc brakes, and its combination of low weight, high power and well-sorted suspension made it extremely competitive.
