Cult MG RV8 1992-1995 - Caribbean Blue 1:18 model car

Cult 1:18 resin model of the 1992-1995 MG RV8 in Caribbean Blue. Following the success of the Mazda MX-5, Rover was convinced that the market for two-seater roadsters had re-emerged, and so took the decision to create an updated MGB model. The RB8 debuted at the British International Motor Show in October 1992. Code named the 'Adder', the RV8 body did not share many of the original MGB panels apart from the boot lid and doors. Indeed, it only used 5% carryover MGB parts, 20% improved MGB parts and 75% new parts. Some of the notable visual changes compared to the MGB included flared inner and outer fenders, a new bonnet, Porsche 964 headlights, and injection moulded bumpers and headlight surrounds. It was powered by the 3.9 litre version of Rover's aluminium V8 engine. That engine produced 190 bhp, allowing a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, and a top speed of 135 mph.
