Spark 1:43 resin model of the #40 McLaren M23 as driven by Gilles Villeneuve in the 1977 British Grand Prix. This was the mercurial Canadian driver's Formula One debut. Villeneuve qualified ninth, but finished two laps down in 11th after pitting with suspected overheating problems, which turned out to be just a faulty temperature gauge. He then went on a charge to set the fifth fastest lap of the race. Ferrari snapped him up soon afterwards.
