AUTOart Lamborghini Miura Jota SVR 1968 - Red 1:18 model car

AUTOart 1:18 diecast composite model of the 1968 Lamborghini Miura Jota SVR in red. Lamborghini produced the Miura sportscar from 1966 to 1973. It was the first high-performance production road car with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. When it was released, it was the fastest production car in the world. The Jota SVR derivative of the Miura was a one-off machine. It was developed by Lamborghini's development driver Bob Wallace, conforming to the FIA's Appendix J racing regulations. A front spoiler was added, as well as a rear wing at the top of the rear window. The car's steel chassis components and body panels were replaced by a lightweight aluminium alloy, reducing the car's weight by a significant 360 kg. After extensive testing the unique vehicle was sold to a private buyer, but it was destroyed in a serious accident in 1971.
