BBR 1:18 1969 Porsche 917 Show Car

BBR’s latest 1:18 replica of the Porsche 917 is of the car as it was presented to the press in 1969. It is a limited edition of just 290 pieces worldwide, and was sold out with the Italian model manufacturer before it was even released. We have five pieces remaining in our warehouse after fulfilling our customer pre-orders.

The car did not achieve a huge amount of success in 1969, proving very unstable at high speeds. This quite serious handling problem was rectified for the following year, the 917 taking victory at Le Mans in both 1970 and 1971. The machine then went on to further success in Can-Am.
