Lansdowne is a brand name that is used by Brooklin for its white metal replicas of British cars. These are made by the same small team of knowledgeable enthusiasts in Bath in the UK. White metal replicas used to look quite expensive in comparison to diecast or resin models, but continual price increases for the latter two now make white metal seem very good value. Lansdowne’s replicas tend to be of British cars that were produced in the first half of the 20th Century. Lansdowne’s advantage in using white metal is that it can manufacture even smaller runs of even more niche subjects than the resin model manufacturers. Therefore, it can manufacture some truly unique pieces.
