Minichamps 1:18 Prost 1993 Williams FW15C diecast model car review

As 2023 drew to a close, we received Minichamps’ 1:18 replicas of the Williams-Renault FW15Cs that were campaigned by Alain Prost during the 1993 Formula One season. The FW15C was the most technologically advanced grand prix machine of all time, featuring several gizmos and gadgets that were outlawed at the end of the year.

It was only the genius of Ayrton Senna that prevented Williams from dominating the 1993 F1 championship more than it actually did. Alain Prost returned from a year’s sabbatical to secure his fourth and final drivers’ title after taking seven wins, sealing the deal with two races to go. He then called time on his grand prix career for good at the end of the campaign.
